Public Art

When considering public environments, such as education centers, libraries, museums and hospitals, art adds to the educational experience and livens the ambiance.

When working on an education center project with students, the theme is chosen by the center and the students create their vision of it.  I then take all the student drawings and combine as many as possible to create the final product.  I want to educate the students on technique, to allow them the freedom to design specific elements of the piece, and to feel as though they have ownership in the design and finished product.

It is a collaborative effort, allowing students to express themselves in their art work, leaving a positive and lasting impression on their school environment.
