A residential space has unlimited possibilities to incorporate stained glass, blown glass, ornamental art metals and woodworking. When designing a residential commission, I work closely with the owner, interior designer, architects and contractors as necessary, melding together each concept and style. I create drawings of the collaborative concepts, which allows the owner to appreciate the design before fabrication.
When it comes to fabrication, each material used whether metal, bronze, wood, glass, as well as the particular technique applied, are meticulously selected. Each material provides a specific visual quality, creating an ambiance and fulfilling the intent for each piece.
As necessary, I work closely with contractors or owners to prepare the installation site. I personally complete the installation, ensuring quality of materials, design concept, and structural concerns.
